But let’s talk about you.

What’s Performance Design?

Everything with a purpose has been designed.

Whether it’s a paper clip or a skyscraper, before effective new things appear in our lives, someone asked a few simple questions:

  • What do I really want to accomplish with this?
  • Why is it important?
  • How long will it take?
  • How much will it cost?
  • Is there something I’m missing?

When it comes to human performance – optimizing behaviours, defeating obstacles, breaking barriers – we take a design thinking approach. Combining art & science to help goals become reality.

Our integrated approach helps clients and students unlock their greatness and amplify their impact in sport, business, relationships and so much more.

What’s My Story?

From my early days copying Todd McFarlane’s Spiderman and filling notebooks with ideas and songs and sketches, I’ve always been a creative.

Around the same time I discovered comic books, I also fell in love with basketball. Michael Jordan and Spawn competed for wall space in my bedroom. Jordan mostly won.

By the time I got to college, I was pursuing degrees in both psychology and fine arts, and achieving the primary objective of playing college basketball. I made it but despite my best efforts, my playing days was less than I’d hoped for.

That experience continued into my career. I had a vision of where I wanted to go but could never put the pieces together. This led to short stints at good jobs, several failed side ventures, less money, more debt and just general frustration.

I wondered why this had to be so complicated? What was I doing wrong? It took a few years of coaching sports teams and helping those teams become successful to slowly unpack what the barrier was for me.

Instead of spending all that time and energy separating creativity from performance, change started to happen when I brought them together. Stories and systems led to breakthroughs for myself and my students.

Let’s design your future.
